Justice Electrical has 20 years of experience in the electrical industry which has included project and maintenance work within the domestic, commercial and industrial sector, in both WA and NSW.
Owner of Justice Electrical, Darren, has been apart of many projects including, cabling at Garden Island, Sir Charles Gardiner Cancer Centre, PMH communications maintenance, Woodside and Rio Tinto office fit outs, Wesfi Timbers communications maintenance and Crown Perth.

Pre Purchase Electrical Home Inspection
Buying a home is probably the most expensive purchase you will ever make. In most cases we get a termite and building inspection but what about the electrical system?
Did you know that it is legislation for WA licenced electrical contractors to report and/or repair any defective electrical works found while carrying out work on your property.
This could cost BIG, UNEXPECTED $$$.
Would your insurance company cover you if your home was found to have defective wiring or doesn’t meet building regulations?
An example:
Recently I was called to install a ceiling fan in the home of a couple who had recently purchased a renovated home. DEFECT #1 The wiring in the ceiling had over 10 exposed junctions. DEFECT #2 The lighting circuit wiring was not installed as per electrical rules. These needed to be rewired. The job should have cost $150 but ended up costing over $650 to repair the defects.

- Inspect main switchboard for compliance, advice of cost if upgrade is required
- Test of main earth and MEN link
- Check for safety switches for power and light circuits
- Fault simulation test using specific RCD testing equipment providing trip time
- Visual inspection of wiring in ceiling
- Inspect down lights for compliance
- Check light switches and accessible power points
- Ensure smoke alarms are compliant
- Perform smoke alarm simulation test
- Verify expiry dates of smoke alarms
- Provide a detailed inspection report within 3 business days
- Report to include estimated cost of recommended repairs
All inspections are carried out by a licenced electrician.
